  k theres this girl at my school, i absolutely fell in love with her, i'm serious to, it's not just a fling....it's love, her eyes, her smile, her personality, i truely love her, and recently she told me she couldn't go out with me because of her religion,(jw), she crushed my heart, .

  now plzzzzz tell me.......when would she ever be allowed to date...cause this feeling for her will never die......i love her.

  why would i get a feeling as important as this, if it could never be

  since i stopped going to meetings about six months ago i have been getting happier and happier and don't know why.

  i don't know who god is anymore, or if there is an afterlife.

  i don't have as many friends as i used to, though i am starting to build new ones.

  satan the devil is blessing you because you are pleasing him. he doesn't need to attack you anymore since he has you by the ballbag. he will make you think you are doing the right thing. THAT's why you are so happy, according to JW's.

  before i disassociated myself a month ago, i sent out a brief letter to a few of my friends to let them know about my choice and my reasons for so choosing.

  the responses varied.

  one of the common responses i received was "i'm sorry you were stumbled.

  the shitty part is that it will go over most jw's heads. they are very uneducated and have a hard time dealing with big words and even bigger sentances. but in the old adage, "if it helps even one, then it was worth it..."

  have any of you ever feel abandoned by "friends" because you dont associate (congregate) with them anymore?

  there is a couple of 'friends' that i haven't talked to for about a year, (because i dont go to the meetings).

  i dont have anything against them or the congregation.

  yes smoky this happened to me recently... my best friend since i was a child got married in march. he had always told me that i would be his best man. i am not disfellowshipped and still associate with many jw's. of course i could not be in his wedding party because he wanted to have it in a kingdom hall. here's what it boils down to: FEAR OF MAN. that's it. that's all. they are so afraid of what people will think and say. they only want to please the elders. this friend of mine told me how much he wanted me in his wedding party blah blah blah. needless to say i have cut off contact with him because he did, not what his heart told him to do, but what the elders pressured him to do.
